 IMPORTANT: Regulation E May Affect Your Checking Account
Do you have a checking account with overdraft protection? Regulation E, which takes effect this summer, might change the way your account is protected. In short, we'll need your permission (or "opt in")
by August 15, 2010, in order to continue paying transactions for your account.
This does not affect overdraft situations where funds are automatically transferred within your account(s) to cover your transactions - these transfers will still take place as they have before, if
you've authorized this coverage for your account. However, additional overdraft protection where transactions are actually paid by Coast Central will be limited by Regulation E. Certain transactions will no longer be covered as of August
15, 2010 without your "opt in" consent.

Beware of Scam Phone Calls! (July 2010)
We've received notice that some of our members have received fraudulent phone calls, claiming to be on behalf of Coast Central Credit Union. If you receive any calls or other correspondence asking for
your debit/credit card number, PIN, or other personal information, please don't respond! These individuals are not employees of Coast Central. We may call you to verify suspicious activity on your
account, but will never ask you for your card number or PIN.
If you ever have questions about a suspicious phone call, you can always call us directly to verify the information. If you do receive one of these scam calls, or any other fraudulent correspondence,
please pass on any details by calling or emailing us. It may help us to track down the scammers and report them to the appropriate authorities.
