Jera Newland Joins Coast Central as Member Services Manager
Coast Central Credit Union announced that Jera Newland has been appointed to Manager, Member Services of its Eureka Downtown location at 4th & F streets, reporting to VP Member Services Kristin Blair. Newland will oversee 10 employees and have responsibility for operations, lending, and new member opportunities. The location also features Member Business Services and Coast Central Financial and Retirement Planning.
Newland comes to the credit union with 13 years of local financial institution experience. Most recently, she served as Branch Manager of US Bank’s Henderson Center Eureka and Ferndale locations. Prior to that, she held management positions at Chase Bank.
A Humboldt County native, Newland has been active in her community, including Eureka Rotary Club, Henderson Center Merchant Association, Humboldt County Fair Junior Livestock Auction, Fortuna Chamber, Humboldt Youth Soccer League, and many other local organizations. She resides in Cutten with her husband and has two children, an 18-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son.
