John Gracyalny Joins CCCU as VP, Digital Member Services

Gracyalny brings over 30 years of California credit union experience to Coast Central, most recently serving as Vice President – Information Technology at SafeAmerica Credit Union in Pleasanton in the Bay Area. Throughout his varied career, Gracyalny has successfully developed cutting-edge technology solutions, additionally bringing expertise in strategic planning and financial analysis. He brings a unique perspective to the organization, having worked for both credit unions and related vendors, with stints as a Financial Systems Consultant, Systems Analyst, and Product Manager. Prior to his financial institution career, Gracyalny spent 10 years in public accounting and beforehand served in the U.S. Navy as a tech specialist, receiving an honorable discharge.

Sessa stated, “The Board of Directors and I are very pleased to welcome John to the Coast Central Credit Union family. His many years of credit union experience, coupled with expertise in advanced technology products and project management, will serve us well as we look forward to our computer system conversion this year, which will greatly improve the service experiences we provide members.”

In his community, Gracyalny has actively supported libraries, veterans’ organizations, and American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. He and his wife Veronica reside in McKinleyville and have four grown children and seven grandchildren, and in his spare time enjoys sailing.
