How do I sign up?
Just visit the smsGuardianTM website and enter your card information to get started. Once your information is verified against your account and you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions and Service Usage Guide, you will be asked to text a short code to 27576. This confirms your phone number and enrolls you in the service for one year. You will be notified when the one-year mark is approaching, and can text a reply to renew.
What if I notice fraud on my card?
Each text alert will come with instructions, including a short code to reply with that will automatically block your card. No further action is necessary on your part – a new card will be issued and sent to the mailing address on file. A new PIN will be mailed separately, for security purposes.
How do I stop receiving alerts?
If you ever prefer to stop receiving smsGuardianTM alerts, you can just reply (or text 27576) with the word “STOP” – this will automatically unsubscribe you from the service for all cards using that phone number. You are free to sign up again any time.
