A small number of members are receiving text messages claiming to be from Coast Central Credit Union, and directing them to call a local number. If they do call that number, they are warned that their direct deposit has been cancelled, and that they need to input their credit card number for verification. These texts are not from Coast Central, and are an attempt to steal your account information.
As a reminder, Coast Central will never use your card information to verify your identity. We will only contact you at the contact information you have on file with us. Please do not call this number or respond to these text messages.
