Coast Central Credit Union Partners with McLean Foundation for Center

Over $14 million in grants have been provided to the community by the McLean Foundation in its 20-year history.  The time had come to build “a gathering place” to enable the community to come together in one special facility: the McLean Campus. Coast Central Credit Union Community Investment Program Open

Coast Central Credit Union announced that the fall 2019 round of its CCCU Dean G. Christensen Community Investment Program is now open. A total of $100,000 is available to support local organizations throughout its tri-county area. Grant amounts range from $3,000 to $25,000. The giving program was created in 2008, and since then has awarded a total of over $1.2 million to 120 organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties. Sessa announced that its Board of Directors has approved $100,000 in grants to eight local organizations for its spring 2019 round of community giving. Coast Central Camp Fire Fund Donates Over $13,000

Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa, announced that, together with generous support from its members, a total of $13,475 has been donated to Camp Fire relief efforts in Paradise. Coast Central made a $11,275 donation to non-profit TLK Foundation, a partner of Yuba City-based Sierra Central Credit Union, with several branches in Butte County. The Foundation’s commitment is that 100% of funds collected through donations will be distributed to Camp Fire survivors. Coast Central Fire Relief Fund Donates $12,000

Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa, announced that, together with generous support from its members, a total of $12,000 has been donated to fire relief efforts. Redding-based Shasta Regional Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund (shastarcf.org) , a resource-building organization, is receiving $10,000 toward the short and long-term recovery of individuals and families affected by the Carr Fire. The fire has killed 8 people, destroyed nearly 1,100 homes and burned some 230,000 acres. North Coast Opportunities Wildfire Relief Fund (ncoinc.org) for Mendocino Complex Fire relief based in Ukiah is receiving a $2,000 donation. The Fund is providing continued support …
