Coast Central Credit Union Receives Two “Best of North Coast” Awards!

Coast Central Credit Union was recently voted Best Credit Union and Best Place to Get a Loan, in an annual poll conducted by the area’s daily regional newspaper, The Times-Standard. Coast Central Community Investment Program Awards $50,000 in Community Grants!

Five community grants totaling $50,000 have been awarded by Coast Central Credit Union. This was announced today by Dean G. Christensen, the credit union’s President/CEO. To date, the credit union has awarded $950,000 to 80 worthwhile community organizations. As part of its Community Investment Program, the credit union’s volunteer Board of Directors approved the following community awards: $13,989 to the Trinity County Life Support, to support the purchase of a Stryke battered-powered gurney to assist with emergency medical care. $10,200 to the Wild Souls Ranch to support the service horses used with foster youth and adopted youth. $10,096 to the … Continue reading


Coast Central Assets Grow to $1.2 Billion

Continuing the outstanding performance, Coast Central Credit Union has been able to record another year of substantial growth. Presenting the 2016 Annual Report at the credit union’s annual membership meeting held Thursday, February 23rd, Ron Rudebock, Chairman of the credit union’s volunteer Board of Directors noted, “in 2016, our members once again reaffirmed their trust and satisfaction in their credit union.” Membership grew to over 65,000, assets increased by 10.3% to $1.280 billion and total capital increased to end the year at $132.1 million. “The continued investment from 3000 new members…now factor to 37% of the tri-county region,” stated John … Continue reading

Coast Central Announces Trina Stokley as New Manager, Member Services

Trina Stokley is the new Coast Central Credit Union Manager, Member Services for the Weaverville location. Stokley has a strong background in banking, beginning her career right out of high school. Before coming to Coast Central, she was a store manager and loan officer with Umpqua Bank where she worked for over 20 years. Four community grants totaling $50,000 have been awarded by Coast Central Credit Union.  This was announced today by Dean G. Coast Central passes an important milestone!

Member-owned Coast Central Credit Union recently surpassed a major milestone—over $1 Billion dollars in member deposits! This $1 Billion dollars, from our over 63,000 members in Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity Counties, is carefully managed and invested to benefit our members with higher dividend rates on deposit accounts, and lower interest rates on loans. Robert Machado joins Coast Central Credit Union

Robert Machado is the new Coast Central Credit Union Manager, Member Services for the Crescent City location. Over the past 20 years, Machado has split his time between managing a Union Bank Branch and serving as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for the biggest builder in the Central Valley. Recently, he was a Mortgage Loan Officer for North Valley Bank. Machado stated, “I am extremely excited to be part of the Coast Central team as the Crescent City Member Services Branch Manager. To date, the credit union has awarded $850,000 to 71 worthwhile community organizations.
