Andrew Shaw joins Coast Central Credit Union
In order to better serve members, Coast Central Financial and Retirement Planning is pleased to announce the expansion of the advisor team with the addition of Andrew Shaw! Andrew will join Mark Gorge on the team of financial advisers through CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc.
Andrew graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in finance. He was most recently a financial advisor with Edward Jones in both Eureka and St Louis, MO (their national headquarters). While there, he specialized in helping clients plan and live out their retirements by designing and implementing a custom investment strategy. Andrew maintains both securities registrations and life insurance licenses, and his specialties include; portfolio management, retirement planning, mutual funds, annuities, tax-free income, as well as long-term care and life insurance.
Andrew currently resides in Arcata where he has strong roots. He played Lumberjack football at Humboldt State on one of Coach Smith’s championship teams. He received a number of accolades including all-conference selection, all-region selection, all-conference academic team, and NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American. He is also a member of Southwest Eureka Rotary. He is glad to have returned to our area and notes that, “Humboldt is my home and I am honored to join the Coast Central team.”
