Coast Central Credit Union Awards up to $125,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Seniors

Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa announced that its Board of Directors has approved scholarships to 25 exceptional high school seniors, each receiving up to $5,000 over four years.  Scholarships are based on a written essay describing their ability to overcome adversity, displayed commitment to make a positive impact on their schools or communities, and academic performance or improvement.  CCCU received a total of 70 applications from students planning to attend Cal Poly Humboldt, College of the Redwoods, Chico State University, or Shasta College.
