Coast Central Credit Union Signs On to Sponsor Mountain Bike World Championships


Celebrating 65 years of providing quality financial services to its diverse membership across the tri-county region, Coast Central Credit Union has stepped up to sponsor the 2015 World Endurance Mountain Biking Championship taking place this coming October 3-4 in Weaverville, CA.

“This is an event that can have long lasting economic benefits to our entire region” says Dean Hart, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Coast Central Credit Union, “An international race with this level of elite athletes doesn’t come along every day. We’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

Sanctioned by the Word Endurance Mountain Biking Organization (“WEMBO”,, internationally recognized for their annual 24 hour endurance race, previous World Championships have been held in Italy (2012), Australia (2013) and Scotland (October, 2014).

The 2015 race will take place on the Weaver Basin Trail system which is recognized in the mountain biking world as having over 30 miles of some of the best single track trails in North America. These trails have many unique historical features tied to the gold mining history of the area and already have a reputation for featuring quality mountain biking events, such as The LaGrange Classic and 8 hours of Weaverville.
