Coast Central Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Laura Morris to Assistant Vice President, Member Services, effective May 4.
With more than 15 years of experience in member services, operations, and team development—including nine years as Manager, Member Services at Coast Central—Morris has built a strong track record of operational excellence and people-centered leadership. She has consistently led high-performing, member-focused teams while driving measurable improvements in both member satisfaction and employee engagement.
“Coast Central has always been about people—our members, our teams, and the communities we serve,” said Morris. “I’m honored to step into this role and build on the strong foundation we’ve created. I’m excited to continue supporting our teams in delivering exceptional service and finding new ways to make a meaningful impact for our members every day.”
During her tenure, Morris has played a pivotal role in enhancing operations at the Eureka Downtown and Fortuna Member Service Branches (MSBs). Her leadership was instrumental in key strategic initiatives, including MSB transitions and facility remodels, helping ensure seamless experiences for both members and employees. She also brings valuable expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration from her prior roles in banking and property management.
In her new role, Morris will focus on advancing service delivery, strengthening operational performance, and continuing to elevate the member experience across Coast Central’s branch network.
