Coast Central Credit Union announced that Klark Swan has been appointed by its volunteer Board of Directors to replace Joyce Jury, who retired this year after serving on the Board for nearly 30 years.
Swan is a graduate of Humboldt State University and currently works as a manager at Sequoia Conference Center, part of the Humboldt County Office of Education. She has been active in community service locally for nearly two decades, serving as founding president of both Lost Coast Rotaract as well as Friends of Redwood Coast Montessori. She is currently president-elect of Rotary Club of Eureka.
“We are excited to welcome a community-focused individual like Klark to the CCCU family,” stated James Sessa, president/CEO. “It’s essential that Coast Central continue to provide relevant financial products delivered with exceptional service to members now and in the future. Klark’s dynamic perspective will be invaluable moving forward.” Swan has lived in Eureka for nearly 30 years and has two young children.
Celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, Coast Central Credit Union is the largest member-owned financial institution in the area, with over 71,500 members and operating 11 Member Services Branches throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties, including McKinleyville, open six days a week and Bayshore Mall, open seven days a week.
