Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa, announced that, together with generous support from its members, a total of $12,000 has been donated to fire relief efforts. Redding-based Shasta Regional Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund (shastarcf.org) , a resource-building organization, is receiving $10,000 toward the short and long-term recovery of individuals and families affected by the Carr Fire. The fire has killed 8 people, destroyed nearly 1,100 homes and burned some 230,000 acres. North Coast Opportunities Wildfire Relief Fund (ncoinc.org) for Mendocino Complex Fire relief based in Ukiah is receiving a $2,000 donation. The Fund is providing continued support …

Coast Central Credit Union announced that the fall 2018 round of its CCCU Dean G. Christensen Community Investment Program is now open.  A total of $100,000 is available – double the amount in prior rounds – to support local organizations throughout its tri-county area.  Grant amounts range from $3,000 to $25,000.  The giving program was created in 2008, and since then has awarded a total of over $1,000,000 to 100 organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties. Fatima Zinselmeir Rejoins Coast Central Credit Union   Coast Central Credit Union (CCCU) announced that Fatima Zinselmeir (formerly Giacomini) has rejoined the organization as Member Services Branch Operations Manager, a newly created position. She is responsible for supporting operations, lending, and quality service functions of the credit union’s 12 locations. Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa, announced that its Board of Directors has approved $100,000 in grants to 11 local organizations for its spring 2018 round of community giving.  Earlier this year, the Board approved a total of $200,000 for 2018, double its previous years’ awards. Coast Central Credit Union announced that Fred J. Moore has been appointed Chief Financial Officer.  Moore will report to James T. Sessa, who was named President & CEO in October 2017.  Moore most recently served 14 years as Chief Financial Officer at Redwood Capital Bank, having guided that organization from its charter application through start-up in 2004.
