Lisa Landry Promoted to Coast Central Member Services Manager

Coast Central Credit Union (CCCU) announced that Lisa Landry, previously Senior Member Services Supervisor at its McKinleyville location, has assumed the role of Member Services Manager at its Bayshore Mall location in Eureka, reporting to VP Member Services Kristin Blair. The location reopened earlier this month, offering seven-day-a-week banking. Lisa oversees a team of 18 employees and is responsible for operations, lending, and new member opportunities. Lisa replaced previous Bayshore Manager Lynda Gleave who retired last month following 31 years in that position. Coast Central Fire Relief Fund Donates $12,000

Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa, announced that, together with generous support from its members, a total of $12,000 has been donated to fire relief efforts. Redding-based Shasta Regional Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund (shastarcf.org) , a resource-building organization, is receiving $10,000 toward the short and long-term recovery of individuals and families affected by the Carr Fire. The fire has killed 8 people, destroyed nearly 1,100 homes and burned some 230,000 acres. Community Investment Program Open

Coast Central Credit Union announced that the fall 2018 round of its CCCU Dean G. Christensen Community Investment Program is now open.  A total of $100,000 is available – double the amount in prior rounds – to support local organizations throughout its tri-county area.  Grant amounts range from $3,000 to $25,000.  The giving program was created in 2008, and since then has awarded a total of over $1,000,000 to 100 organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties. Community Investment Program Awards $100,000

Coast Central Credit Union President/CEO James T. Sessa, announced that its Board of Directors has approved $100,000 in grants to 11 local organizations for its spring 2018 round of community giving.  Earlier this year, the Board approved a total of $200,000 for 2018, double its previous years’ awards.
